In my current role of Director of Social Media, I oversee the Thunder’s 7 social media channels including photography, video production, copywriting, content and creative strategy and distribution for Oklahoma City Thunder, Oklahoma City Blue, Rumble the Bison, the Thunder's mascot,Thunder Cares, Thunder Shop, and all other channels totaling more than 20 million plus followers.

YouTube: By The Numbers In collaboration with Broadcast Production team, earned the Thunder a YouTube Silver award, surpassing 100,000 total subscribers. Revamped Thunder’s localized organic storytelling distribution efforts via paid social, reaching for The Path. Increased subscribers by 51% from 97,000 to 147,000 through optimizing channel with more basketball content, adjusting SEO, creating more posts and YouTube Shorts for driving traffic to chan which previously had not been utilized.

NBA All-Star Campaign: Social Activation Worked with Brand Expressions Team on all social media activation on NBA All-Star, coinciding with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander earning his first NBA All-Star appearance and him earning NBA All-Star Starter status in 2024. This example utilized a key defensive statistic to tie into core messaging into a visually appealing Shai graphic, leading the design layout and strategy of messaging with our basketball communications team.

Highlighting a Team-First Approach In OKC Team over individual lies at the core of our organization. As such, it's my role to lead my team to think creatively outside of the box on how to best communicate this team-first philosophy in an engaging way on social media through visuals and video work.

Money Talks: Fresh Ideas to Digital Partnership Activation In my role as Director of Social Media, I work closely with our partnerships to activate existing and new social campaigns, activating over 25+ partners. One example is SociosUSA was looking to brand a consistent content piece focused on fan loyalty on City Nights game days at home. I pitched utilizing our fan autographs moments with players across our social channels and this recommendation became reality for our City Nights gamedays.

Showcasing the Loud & Loyal: Thunder Fans Through our social channels, we engage our core audience on social with fan-first content, use sponsor content to amplify our fans and showcase the best fans in the NBA, Loud City.
